You’re
invited
on a nourishing journey of self-connection, nervous system health,
& collective wellbeing
Hi, I’m Paris
Luminous Wellbeing evolved from my journey of recovering from burnout.
After pouring my heart into animal rights advocacy, working fulltime campaigning for a more compassionate world, I found myself exhausted and depleted, waking up with a clenched jaw and knowing that something needed to change.
My path towards balance led me into the world of embodied practices; learning how to listen to and honour the signals of my body. I completed 200 hours of training in Hatha yoga and 100 hours in Trauma-Informed Yin Yoga. I also studied body-based Non-violent Communication with Anna Groves, trained in Cacao Facilitation with Radha Iveta, and sat or served on many silent meditation retreats, including 20 and 30 day retreats.
From 2023 - 2025, I completed 300 hours of Integrative Somatic Facilitation Training with SomaPsych and Legacy Motion, exploring accessibility, social justice, and embodied practices, while expanding my understanding of trauma, the nervous system, and the power of somatic practices.
I am also a qualified lawyer and was admitted to the bar in 2018. I have a strong foundation in ethics and integrity, and I’m deeply committed to embodying compassion, presence and kindness.
I offer a gentle, accessible approach to wellbeing, with a focus on nervous system support, somatic restoration, and self-agency.
My approach
The foundation of my work is my personal practice. Daily meditation, rest, movement, time in nature, play, and meaningful connection all support my own wellbeing and help me to show up with presence, care, and a well-resourced nervous system.
The sessions and spaces that I offer are trauma-informed, polyvagal-informed, and centred around somatic practices. This means that I share a range of accessible tools and practices that support nervous system restoration, balance, and self-understanding, helping you to connect with your whole self and respond to life with more ease, clarity and resilience.
Somatic practices invite you to connect with your body’s innate intelligence. You might be curious to get to know yourself and your needs on a deeper level, you may be looking for ways to sustain meaningful and challenging work with balance, or you may be seeking support to help to process and integrate stored stress or trauma. Whatever brings you here, somatic practices can offer profound support for long-term wellbeing.
Somatic practices may include movement, breath, body awareness, grounding, orienting or creative expression. My approach is gentle and invitational, you are always welcome to move at your own pace and choose what feels right for you. I also take an educational approach, sharing relevant information and explaining the science behind the practices.
If you are curious about working together or experiencing one of my offerings, please feel free to reach out or to book a complimentary connection call. It would be an honour to walk alongside you in your journey.
